Job description

Zurich is currently looking for a General Liability Claims Specialist I for our Atlanta, GA office. This position will with moderate direction, handle non-litigated commercial general liability claims of low to moderate exposure and complexity within specific limits of authority. The successful candidate will follow established protocols to ensure that claims are handled in the most efficient, effective way while delivering a customer-centric claims service.

Client Externally Focused - The job’s core deliverables rely on delivering service to external clients and/or customers. Typically involves building relationships and promoting the company.

Basic Qualifications

• Juris Doctor and 1 or more years of experience in the Claims Handling area
  OR
• 1 or more years in the Claims Foundational Training Program
  OR
• Bachelor’s Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Claims Handling area
  OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the Claims Handling area
  AND
• Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s)
• Customer service experience
• Microsoft Office experience

• Experience reviewing and analyzing coverage
• Analytical skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience collaborating across work groups
• Organization skills and time management skills
