We are looking for Senior Manager - Spare Parts who will be supporting Director Sales and Marketing in establishing and developing successful nation-wide spare parts business set up in Pakistan by preparing a market competitive strategy for spare parts business through market study of competitor’s parts business. He would be responsible to establish and manage procurement operations, inventory management, warehouse operations and sales operations at AFAPL as well as the dealer network .
The key responsibilties will be but but not be limited to:
  • SUPPORT DIRECTOR SALES & MARKETING IN THE CREATION OF SUCCESSFUL SPARE PARTS BUSINESS ACROSS PAKISTAN
    • Develop comprehensive business plan for spare parts sales in Pakistan.
    • Develop the department structure to establish procurement, inventory management, warehouse and sales operations.
    • Establish Spare parts business structure at all dealerships nationwide.
    • Develop Spare Parts promo campaigns.
    • Regular monitoring of Spare Parts operation activities in the light of applicable AFG and Renault standards.
  • ESTABLISH COMPETITIVE IMAGE OF RENAULT SPARE PARTS
    • Set competitive prices of spare parts in comparison with competitors.
    • Ensure availability of spare parts at AFAPL and dealer network.
    • Inventory Management.
  • BUDGETS
    • Prepare and manage Spare Parts Operations budgets.
    • Responsible for generating profits from spare parts operations.
    • Develop and manage spare parts promotion campaigns as per Renault and AFG guidelines.
  • DEALER’S STAFF TRAINING 
    • Prepare a dealer’s operational manual for spare parts business.
    • Train dealer’s spare parts staff to effectively manage spare parts operations including Warehousing, inventory management, customer handling, Parts ordering and personnel development.
    • Implementation of SAP at all dealerships nationwide.
  • MONITOR DEALER PERFORMANCE
    • Regular visits to the dealer network to grasp actual business situation.
    • Develop and manage improvement plan for low performing dealers.
    • Responsible for ensuring availability of genuine spare parts at dealerships.
  • Coordinate with Factory, Sales, Service Field Operations Dealer Development and Customer Relations.
    • Coordination with Factory, Sales, Service, Dealer Development and Customer Relations departments to improve operations both at AFAPL and at dealers.
    • Manage dealer performance oversight and reports necessary for dealer performance tracking in conjunction with Sales and Service field operation.
    Minimum Experience Requirements
    • Must have a minimum of 12 to 15 years work experience in the Pakistani automotive industry (Passenger Cars and SUVs only) with a leading global OEM.
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience as Head of Spare Parts Business including Sales, procurement, inventory management and warehouse operations in a leading global OEM.
    Minimum Qualifications And Knowledge
    • MBA, from a renowned university or business school

     JOB PURPOSE
     
     To lead the distributor/ organization team in deploying company strategies to address local business needs. Train and motivate the team to achieve short term company objectives and long term organizational goals. 
     
    PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
     
    • Permanent Journey Plan development and implementation.
    • Screening and hiring of Order Bookers / DSR’s
    • Ensure implementation of Annual Operating Plan of which the Key Performance Indicators are.
      • Achieving the monthly Volume targets locked at the start of the year
      • Productivity of daily planned shops to be visited
      • Ensuring Range availability of PCI snacks in the market
      • Prime rack location identification and maintenance of rack integrity
      • FIFO has to be maintained both at the warehouse and in market
      • Negligible stale in the market has to be maintained
    • Identify stock requirement at the warehouse
    • Deliver volume and revenue target for his territory
    • Capability development of distributors and distributor workforce
    • Rollout of Sales OOR modules across distributor workforce.
    • Effective utilization of promotional budget by distributor and DSR
    • Effective utilization of subsidies provided to the distributor i.e. stale allowance, DSR salaries and Van rentals by ensuring that DSR / Distributor lifts all stale product from the market, all vans and DSRs claimed by the distributor work throughout the month
    • Conduct in market training/coaching with regular Follow up / Work with
    • New account development
    • Weekly reporting on all KPI’s mentioned above to the ASM
    • Management of all PI assets including racks etc.
    • Implementation of Sales software at distributor end has to be ensured
