Position: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Karachi
Qualification: DAE Civil,
Salary: Rs 70,000
Job Description:
• Conduct site inspection for tender understanding, analyzing conditions and identifying activities.
• Prepare tender documents including BOQs and review, prepare BOQs from Drawings.
• Rate analysis of BOQ items & Obtain quantities from drawings.
• Check the BOQ against the drawings and raise any RFI (Request for Information)
• Prepare and analyze costing for tenders, assessing scope, risk involved, tender complexity.
• Prepare and interpret tender documents, specifications, general conditions and other parts and forms of contracts.
• Verify and validate running bill payments through construction development on site.
• Verify and validate final project bill for final bill payment to contractor.
• Sound knowledge of construction and fit-out materials including application process and time.
• Well versed in MEP and utility service material/item/equipment identification, specifications, installation, testing and commissioning on site.
Preferred
• Experience of Site supervision and execution of restaurants.
• Knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbering)
