We are looking for BankLoan Closers for our New York, NY location.
The team is responsible for providing daily operational support to SS&C GlobeOp clients engaged in a variety of investment products but with a focus on the trading of primary and secondary bank loans via CLO’s and other types of holding entities.
Responsibilities Include
  • Support the settlement process of primary loan syndications and secondary loan trades, including all funding and documentation matters
  • Significant interaction with senior management, SS&C GlobeOp clients, their trading counterparties, agent banks, custodians, trustees and other SS&C GlobeOp departments relative to loan settlements
  • Investigate and resolve closing and transactional breaks/issues in a timely manner
  • Participate in the daily/weekly preparation and review of trade status and risk reports and metrics provided to our clients and senior managers
Skills And Knowledge Desired
  • Bachelors degree in Finance or related discipline
  • 2+ years financial services industry experience in Loan Closing/Operations working for a bank, hedge fund, administrator, or prime broker
  • Understanding of syndicated loans including trade closing mechanics and economics, LSTA market settlement conventions, Credit Agreements and their operational mechanics (i.e. funds flows, ticking fees, paydowns, drawdowns, etc.)
  • Knowledge of ClearPar, WSO, and Advent Geneva experience a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Solid client relationship management skills
