The Know Your Customer (KYC) Program (OneKYC) has been created to migrate from a multiple-policy program organized by line of business and geography to a program that takes a globally consistent approach to identifying and managing AML risk. The program applies globally uniform standards and processes, and provides a single technology platform.
It has been developed from leading practices both within Citi and from the industry. The Program entails new Global KYC Policy and Standards, new Client Risk Scoring Model, standardized workflows and reporting of KYC metrics from all business lines, and the development of a new KYC platform (CitiKYC) with implementation cross-business and cross-borders.
This new position is needed to strengthen and support the OneKYC Program’s Policy & Standards workstream. The person will generally be working to support lead(s) responsible for the KYC Policy & Standards for the Cards business.
This new position is needed to support the overall management of this workstream.
Description:
• Develop AML compliance policy and guidelines, and provide support to the business units including in developing action plans to improve AML-related activities
• Track and report on various workstreams related to KYC/AML policy and governance
• Liaising with Compliance and Business Technology teams to implement changes for business units in interim state and in CitiKYC
• Liaising with business leadership to provide oversight on the interim process and strategic implementation for CitiKYC, specifically within Global Cards
• Working with Sector and Regional AML Subject Matter Experts (and other Compliance and Business representatives as needed) on changes to Global KYC Policy and Standards, including development of new products/services as well as enhancements to existing products/services, ensuring that any changes are globally consistent, and assisting AML Policy with updates to the Policy and Standards and other documentation as necessary
Qualifications:
• 5 + Years’ experience in AML, Compliance, Audit or Risk Management is desirable, preferably in Banking or the Financial Sector
• Knowledge of the Credit Card business and Experience in the management of KYC / AML Programs for Credit Cards portfolios
• Experience in the design and implementation of AML programs
• Experience in the development and implementation of compliance platforms, such as KYC or Transaction Monitoring controls
• Knowledge of KYC and Monitoring systems
• Strong project management and strategic thinking skills.
• Analytical profile - Reports and graphic/statistics read-out and interpretation
• Ability to analyze and document AML business processes and formulate related change requirements.
• Self-motivated
• Must be able to communicate effectively to Senior Management
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills
• Strong knowledge of PowerPoint
• Experience with larger, globally operating financial institutions is a plus
