Job description
Job Overview:
Manager Technical Support South oversees maintenance and operations of internal IT infrastructure of South. Provides technical support to end users. i.e. Software and hardware related issues. Provide 1st and 2nd level support for Intranet connectivity.
Major Responsibilities:
- Coordinate for preparation of policies /SOPs regarding User Tech Support and IT infrastructure.
- Manage Level -1 and Level-2 user support (Desktop/LAN/AV/email) to intranet users (South).
- Administration / Management of complaints through service desk system for end
- Escalate IT issues to different team members of IT and follow-up till the resolution.
- IT user’s satisfaction, meeting with Regional IT Stakeholders to improve IT Service Delivery for South Region.
- Ensure the proper installation and configuration of software (OS/Office/AV and hardware (Desktop/Laptop/Printer/Scanner)
- Coordinate with vendors for use of latest technology like software packages and hardware accessories.
- Analyze feedback from end users regarding the functionality of IT services support such as email, networking, software and hardware.
- Ensure the maintenance process Management of IT Assets.
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Ensure compliance of the software licenses for installed system
Required Qualification:
Bachelors / Master’s Degree in Computer Science/ IT from a recognized university
Required Experience:
At least 3-5 years of experience in the relevant field
