Description
This newly created Group Head of HR position will take over the leadership in the people management area and act as the HR business partner to the regional/group management team. Headquartered in Pakistan, this role would report to the CEO and have regional responsibilities across South Asia. You will be responsible for the full spectrum of HR needs for the organisation, both strategically and operationally. You will develop and implement an annual agenda for HR strategy in line with the business plan, and ensure the HR team is also flexible enough to cope with the changes and development/growth of the company. As the organisation continues to develop, there will also be a need to review and improve existing policies, and prioritise the people/talent agenda and employee engagement.
Profile
While the company is not entirely new, they want to take it to the next phase of growth and is almost in a start-up phase for the HR function as they realign their strategy. Our requirements:
- A recognised university degree with an emphasis in Human Resources or related degree in Human Resources Management
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in a generalist HR role, supporting a progressive organisation with recent years in a senior leadership and regional role. Industry exposure to the technology, e-commerce, online and consumer goods sector would be advantageous
- Experience in change management and organisation development in a start-up phase would be critical
- A deep understanding of HR principles and best practice in the areas of Employee Relations, Performance Management, Organisational Development & Effectiveness, Compensation, Recruitment and Learning & Development
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and demonstrated capability of influencing change within an organisation
- "Hands-on" and strong appetite to work in a fast-growth environment and is self-motivated
- Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment and possess an entrepreneurial mindset and capability
