This is a newly created position that will support the oversight and production process for SEC Form N-PORT and N-CEN filings. Manages a set of client relationships through all phases of implementation; including sales support, discovery, on-boarding, implementation and BAU support. Works closely with the ESP application support team and Agile technology labs to test and finalize the technology solution for these filings. Assists in the creation and maintenance of SOPs and checklist oversight procedures for the filing review process.
Client Sales Support and On-board Planning
  • Participate in client implementation discussions and manage client relationships through on-boarding process
  • Form Analysis & Interpretation – assist in interpreting Form questions and documenting the detailed calculation approach for a standard baseline + any client variability.
  • Assist in creation and maintenance of detailed on-boarding plan documents
Client Discovery and Client Implementation
  • Execute and track client specific on-boarding plans
  • Work with ESP support team to integrate client-specific and 3rdparty data sources to ESP
  • Assist in designing checklist steps for 1stand 2ndlevel internal reviews
  • N-PORT and N-CEN Mock Cycles and SEC Test Filings
BAU Form N-PORT / N-CEN Filing Cycle Support
  • Respond to Client Comments through MySS portal
  • Review Alerts/Exceptions and Publish form to Client workflow
  • Assist with User Access Requests for MySS portal
  • Assist with Client training on MYSS portal
  • On-board additional Funds and Clients to ESP tool
  • Complete internal reviews of N-PORT and N-CEN Filings
  • Responsible for the direction and training of subordinate team leaders and staff.
  • Allocate and coordinate resources and handle personnel related issues.
  • Equivalent to a B.S. degree in Accounting, Business, or related field. MBA is a plus, but not required.
  • Four or more years of experience in mutual funds accounting, compliance, auditing or related business activity.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of SEC, IRS, and general ledger accounting requirements and laws as they apply to investment companies, Trusts, Partnerships and other fund structures.
  • Demonstrates strong technology skills, as well as problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills that can interact with diverse audiences.
  • Experience with Enterprise Servicing Platform (ESP), ability to perform SQL queries and/or database management a plus.

Senior Manager, Capital Officer/ Relationship Manager
Summary
Community Finance Capital Officers seek to leverage our ability to bring debt and equity investment capital to our clients, while serving as the lead marketers for our products and managing specific geographic markets. Once business is located, they lead the deal team through approval and closing of both debt and/or equity for each deal. They determine product pricing and manage resources toward agreed upon targets. They are leaders in their communities, with their broad expertise in bringing capital to bear on critical community issues. The Senior Manager, Capital Officer performs responsibilities independently, but often under the guidance or direction of more senior Capital Officers.
  • Finances transactions with: Low income housing tax credits (LIHTC), tax exempt bonds, new market tax credits, funding from US Department of Housing and Urban development (HUD), including HOPE VI, HAP contracts, and public housing, and other state/local governmental financing sources.
  • Under the guidance/direction of the originations manager or designee, plans portfolio growth through the development of a business plan and customer call program in alignment with departmental budget and consistent with overall Bank objectives
  • Assists other account officers in their efforts to obtain new business and retain existing customer relationships for the bank
  • In consultation with the originations manager or designee, performs the proper pre-qualification, structuring, pricing of all debt and proprietary investments in his/her assigned area. Presents deal proposals to originations manager or designee and credit risk manager and keeps deal team informed.
  • In consultation with the originations manager or designee, negotiates both debt and equity investments related to community development transactions
  • Manages (or assists in managing) national relationships with fund managers of low income tax credits
  • Leads the closing of all transactions originated including working with internal and external teams to obtain final credit approval, achieving timely closing and keeping management informed
  • Leads coordination with other departments for the sale and administration of all financial services to include debt, deposits, investments, derivatives, etc. within the assigned region
  • Coordinates with various CF functional teams and other departments in the servicing of client relationship and in resolving any client issues that rise beyond the day to day responsibilities of Portfolio Management.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of competitor’s products and pricing in the market served; identifies community needs and opportunities for the bank to serve.
  • Assists originations manager maintain monthly team pricing reports, resource materials, brand/marketing materials and form template documents.
General Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in Community Finance client management, underwriting or asset management
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or Master’s degree in Finance preferred.
  • At least 8 years of specialized experience in Community Finance
  • Completion of credit training program
  • Strong oral and written communication, presentation and influencing skills with a high level of attention to detail.

Responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Partnering with all branch touch points to achieve goals together.
  • Leveraging both external referral business and internal sources for maximum market share penetration.
  • Developing and executing a local marketing plan for external and internal business development designed to meet goals and objectives.

    Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification or military experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in residential mortgage sales originations
  • At least 1 year of experience in FNMA/FHLMC programs and underwriting guidelines, as well as private mortgage insurers
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • At least 2 years experience working in a Bank regulated environment.
